I'm not sure about that possible conflict, but I can't recall PowerATAPI
having problems with non PowerTEC cards in RiscPCs.

Since making my posting I have realised that I don't think 'PowerAtapi' is
32bit compatible:-(
I have emailed Gary Partis to check the status, replies tend to be slow!
