You have already said enough which would convince me to return it and
exchange it for another model/brand.

The viewing angle on any monitor should be adequate to allow you to vary
your viewing position from time to time. Unlike what people are 'told' by
H&S 'experts' about where you should sit in relation to your equipment,
the truth is that it should vary. Back and other harm is cause by sitting
in the same position all the time, not necessarily in the 'wrong'
position. Sitting correctly but locked into one pose for hours of the day
is not good and taking a five minute break in each hour is beneficial.

If you are intent on keeping it, can you adjust the rake of the monitor?
