Thanks to Pauls MDF, my menu button now works :-)

Well I never Dave...  I have it set it up for on-axis viewing, or the 
average between 3o'c and 9o'c using your terminology.

But moving the screen so that it is at 12o'c makes the icon bar even 
brighter than it is when on-axis :-(
