I don't really find this a major problem with normal desktop usage.
However, the most irritating thing is when designing graphics because if
your Photodesk window is towards the top of the screen, the colours will be
darker, whereas moving the window to the bottom of the screen makes the
colour hues change, so it can be difficult for graphic work.

That should definitely work though. I get the OSD popping up when I press
the menu button from here.

Can't say I noticed that. I don't think I'd used the monitor at all on a PC
until way after I'd got it working on the Iyonix.

The other thing I did notice about the w2408h monitor is that the 'auto'
button doesn't always work. You can occasionally get a thin vertical bar of
'blurred' text somewhere on the screen. The way I overcame this was by
carefully positioning several Zap text windows containing very small (my
default font is bitmapped 06x10 Teletext) so that there is at least some
text right across the full width of the monitor. If you then auto adjust
it, you'll find you'll get a much sharper picture and I find that it's in
focus right across the screen now. You only have to do this once, as it's
remembered the settings.
Bit difficult to describe without demonstrating though!
