If it is in DOS FAT format, then you can't use it at all, as the limit is
just 2GB. If you format it in RISC OS Filecore format you can use 256GB at
most, but it will be very slow. The best removable solution for RISC OS, is
an IDE disc caddy with a drive of up to 128GB.
If you need to access a specific 500GB USB drive, then a PC of some
description is the only option.
