Just avoid anything over 128GB, as over that size the machine wont use the
fast UDMA access, and revert to PIO at a tenth of the speed.

That is a termal recalibration cycle, all drives will do that except for
the more expensive and ultimately less reliable AV (audio visual) class
drives.
