Don't attempt to do anything else with the disc, its likely to make
things worse. Order a copy of my !DiscKnight from online from
http://www.armclub.org.uk/products/discknight it will be with you in seconds.
It will fix up disc and remove the spurious directories. Examine the output
carefully and restore any problem files from your backups. Email me if you
have any difficulties.
