Brilliant - I was not aware of the recursive wipe command. It seems to
be working OK in a task window, but its only about twice as fast as my
Basic program, doing about 2 deletes a second. I didnt try your second
option because its very easy to lock up the Iyo messing about with
windows when its in this very busy state.
