Can't say I've had problems with DiscKnight, but then I think I've only
ever run it twice. I just tend to keep it safe for use in times of
emergency (luckily very rare!).

I don't think my recent problems are anything to do with PSU problems. My
machine is on 24/7 so never really gets a change in temperature and the
network is stable. I have POPstar and NewsHound loaded in the !Boot
sequence, so they're always checking things, plus I have !Ticker loaded on
Boot and that works fine.

Grapevine mainly crashes on loading, which results in the USB stack going
fubar, but a simple *USBHID_Refresh command generally gets back mouse
control.

I've also seen an increase in the 'single line of random pixels' appearing
on the backdrop, generally about a 1/3rd of the way down from the top of
the screen. Turning off lazy task swapping and then forcing a screen redraw
fixes this, which if I don't will cause random applications to start
crashing or at worst, crashing the whole machine.

My office is approx 5 degrees cooler now than it was is the summer (22
degrees C currently, according to the display on the Panther), whereas it
gets to about 28/29 in the summer. I don't think it's temperature (on mine
anyway) as it's in the shade (under the desk) and on all the time, in a
relatively constant temperature environment.

Yes indeed. FTPc now often crashes part way down a directory refresh (ie.
you can see the files being listed in the directory window and it will
crash part way down). This has only started happening since last week when
I increased the monitor resolution.

My dads Iyonix is one of the very first ones built (ie. it was my original
developers machine) and it's still running fine - although I did replace
the PSU a couple of months back, because it lost network connectivity but
was otherwise working fine.
