I am now running three screens at 3840 x1024 16m colours. I also have
noticed the front end of Discknight barfing when I try and select a
different drive to scan. Not every time though and this has been a
problem for as long as I can remember. I've been meaning to report it
but maybe it is related to general instability. I considered PSU
problems merely as the apps that were barfing were either network
related or disc drive (however vaguely related they were).

Any other apps where you have problems?

The only other thing that has changed was is that the room the Iyonix
stands in is rather cooler in the morning.

Interesting. but it is only very recently become a frequent problem.

Are the oldest Iyonixes now in need of periodic stripping down and
re-assembling as with RiscPCs? The area where the Iyonix sits is
probably the dustiest in the house although when I fitted the new
graphics card, the amount of fluff inside did not seem particularly
high.
