Hello, I'm starting to get regular problems with Filecore errors on starting up Grapevine and Netsurf. The drive they are on is good according to Disknight and verifies OK. The machine also has two other hard drives as well as the CD-ROM drive. The only recent changes to the machine are that I have fitted a third graphics card to the Iyonix, in place of a TV card, and installed the ROL toolbox modules. However the problems started before I installed the ROL toolbox modules. Prior to these changes the only similar symptom I had was that Grapevine would crash 4 times out of 10 on starting it up, sometimes killing HID or just stopping the USB mouse from working, and occasionally taking the machine down with Filecore errors. Is this the sort of error associated with a borderline power supply or is there something else up with the machine? Iyonix from Dec 2002 512MB, firmware and hardware mods, RO5.13, Geminus 1.31.
