It sounds like a rogue or corrupted file or application has been placed in
your !Boot sequence, more than likely inside Predesk or Tasks. Or possibly
something corrupt in Boot:Resources.
To make it easier to enable and disable things in these directories, you
could install my !TaskSetup !Boot plugin from
http://www.vigay.com/software/tasksetup.html
