[iyonix-support] Re: Failure to Start

From: "Chris Evans" <chris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
It sounds like it is getting part way through booting, but then failing at
detecting drives
Try removing all the drives data cables apart from the boot drive.

Of the 3 harddiscs two are bootable with much the same data on them.
Tried each drive in turn, ensuring Master link, cable plugged into
bottom mboard socket, hdisc on the end plug.

Tried one disc at a time:
And in both cases bootup does not start.
Tried data cable next up from bottom mboard socket, same negative results.

BUT removing and replacing memory card. BINGO!
One disc(1) gives a partial boot-up, small screen mode, 'disc error at ...'.
The other older disc worked. BUT no mouse function.

(1) recently purchased seagate parallel ATA 160gb hard disc
(formatted to 120gb) that produced the disc error has been
in use and DiscKnight pronounced 'good'.

Thank you team!!
Now to look into the mouse issue.
