[iyonix-support] E.U. Banning sales of Iyonix

I have just read a disturbing article on drobe.co.uk that suggests the
Iyonix is barred from being sold in the E.U, due to the levels of lead used
in the solding process, (If it's not Bill Gates trying to stop Risc OS, it's
the Government), which is based on the fact that PC's are upgraded every few
months, and yet RiscOS based systems are for life (My StrongARM RiscPC is
still going and still proving useful). Can anyone who owns a PC that they
have built themselves say that they haven't had to return more than 1 item
for being either faulty, or just not what it says on the box?

Natrualy, this news might have some people on edge, especialy as the Iyonix
is still in it's prime, and future plans are just aound the corner. I'm
wondering how this problem can be 'got round', as I had been looking forward
to buying another Iyonix.

Is there a way around the problem, or is there an Iyonix 2 on the horizon. I
would so badly like to know, as I do want another of these fabulous machines
at next years Wakefield show, so that I can have a go with the networking
from RiscOS to RiscOS (among other things).
