[iyonix-support] Re: Discrepancy in modules

As some of you know, I've been developing a module scanner, which includes
a comprehensive database of modules for checking versions and verifying
integrity etc.

Whilst developing it I've noticed a number of discrepancies in various
modules, and one of the last ones to be sorted out is trying to work out
the 'definitive' "PhotoCD" module.

I have two here, both the same version number and date, but with different
sizes and thus checksums.

One is inside Boot:Resources.!System.350.Modules and the other is inside
!Photodesk.Modules - which I presume was an independently 32-bitted version
supplied with that software.

The system one is 14K and the Photodesk one is 20K long, so I was wondering
if anyone knows which is the best/correct/recommended one to use?

The PhotoCD module in my System directory is 14880 bytes. It has been squeezed. Unsqueezing it produces a binary 20096 bytes in length. Does that answer your question?
