*ROMMODULES gives !Draw 1.13, but Draw 1.17 here.

I'm simply trying to eliminate this annoyance.  It doesn't happen on the
other Chris' setup, so something must be different.  I've already spent
hours trying all sorts of 'rational' experiments, by the way.

Further tests reveal that it happens in any screen resolution available to
me above 1280 x 1024.  And that exactly the same sequence of test events
from switch-on don't always cause the same drawing to disappear - which
makes the computer itself somewhat 'irrational'!

I'd love to get to the bottom of this, and ideas from other users is
much appreciated - thanks.
