In my case, nothing at all. The problems wwere always with the DATA it
had written. And it was usually one of my large Pluto Articles files that
got hit. A real pain.

It is an HEC-300AR-PTF, a slightly higher rating, but otherwise the same.

I will, I will. If it happens again the same, I have a disc test program
that is ready to show up my problem!

But it will probably have different symptoms the next time ...
