unwilling to back down from his assertions about "keyboard routines"
which have no basis in fact.  All he's achieved is ensuring that
any issues he's seeing will not be fixed any time soon.

The moral here is that making stuff up only further complicates
any attempt to understand the real issue.   Effective bug reporting
is certainly a tricky art, but there are plenty of guides to help.

Anyone willing to looking into (alleged) misbehaviour with AZERTY
keyboards is welcome to do so, but they'll need more information
than "doesn't work", and I suspect it won't be an easy problem to
solve.  Of course, not speaking French, it's not something I have
or would have been expected to test with.
