My scroll-wheel does work with Firefox 2.0.0.12; FWIW I have 
HID->Scrollwheel set to 'Arrow up/down key', 5 units, no horizontal 
method or units set. 'Page up/down' will work also, but in the latter 
case the Firefox window needs to be 'live' otherwise it may freeze; 
this problem doesn't appear to affect the Arrow up/down key setup 
described above.

As a general comment on the original post, I find RISC OS Firefox 
brings significant browser capability which no other RO browser can 
currently duplicate (I'm a Netsurf user too, incidentaly), and I'm 
personally very glad it's available. Cheers,
