Right, I've come across several of these, too. However, in none of the cases
I've come across have I seen a description of the layout of the video
_memory_ - which was the issue with the colour value ordering - only values
used as input to various functions. This is shown clearly by that your
example above uses &BBGGRR00, while some other functions uses &00BBGGRR,
which would be impossible if both described the same layout.

Anyway, it was no big deal, I was just curious. :) It seems the layout is
&00BBGGRR, anyway.
