I use the Manchester University ntp (Network Time Protocol) server
ntp2b.mcc.ac.uk (ntp2c.mcc.ac.uk or ntp2d.mcc.ac.uk as alternatives)
To pick a random (UK) time server use
0.uk.pool.ntp.org , 1.uk.pool.ntp.org , 2.uk.pool.ntp.org or
3.uk.pool.ntp.org
A comprehensive list of alternatives can be found at
http://www.chronosatomic.com/secondary-servers.html Note that many are
"open access" but some require you to "register" by sending an email.
