Either format as Filecore for exclusive use with RISC OS, or in a different format (invariably FAT) for data interchange. Partition tables are then not an issue for FileCore (not ADFS or SCSIFS, as they are just hardware drivers), as anything it doesn't recognise as its own is passed around the image filing systems, and its up to them to find any partition tables and valid partitions.
