Hi
Sounds like a readline line length limit that has not usually been seen,
hence hasn't been updated to use a longer buffer ..

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a maximum line length to entries in the hosts
file (BootResources:!Internet.files.hosts)?
I've got a local server entry with numerous aliases configured for it.
However, I've just added a new entry (taking the line length over 255
charactesr) and now the entire line is ignored.
On removing the new entry, all the other aliases start working again - so I
presume there must be a 255 character limit or something....?
More than likely.
I'm pleased there seems to be some input validation and it didn't
buffer overflow and crash.
Cheers

the money is handled for you. All you do is guarantee to save
people money and help them fill in a simple one page form, or they
