It deletes files. So very effective IMO. 

Wastebin is no good as a file deleter for people who habitually delete
files and then regret it three days later, I grant you. People like that
need Windows, which holds your hand and provides a "comforter" and a
blankie too.  ;-o

I get around these problems by deleting very little. But when I do I
_really_ want to delete them. ;-)
