No device detected on the mouse, keyboard and display ports.
At least one of those is going to generate an error, and not least if it
can't see a mouse and hence set the right parameters for that device how is
it supposed to sort things out later?
What happens if you boot normally and plug in a second USB mouse (or
keyboard)?
