Hi Gary,

Can anyone offer a suggestion as to why, when my Iyonix is booted
through the
non-active connection, it is frozen when I return to the Iyo desktop?
Typically a data abort error is displayed; (today it was at
&FC0502FC).
If the Iyo is booted with its KVM* connections active, there is no
problem.
If it is booted /without/ its KVM link active, it invariably needs
to be
reset. It makes no difference whether or not the Mac is off, on, or
asleep.
To compound the problem, if working on the Mac and I return to the
Iyo, even
if booted correctly, there is likely to be an application error
window on
display; depending on the app it may or may not have been fatal.
(These
latter errors seldom bring down the computer though..)
RO5.11; USB-2; USBHID 0.45; Geminus 1.31. I always run !USBKick
(1.08) at
boot, and on every boot since connecting the KVM it always
registers 'Hub
device: Complete -Fail'. It does the same if run after booting is
complete.
I have almost the same configuration. A Mac Mini and an Iyonix 5.11
connected using a Belkin 2 port KVM switch (with build in cables). I
have USB-2 and always run USB-HID (0.36, a bit old I see). Most of
the time I run Aemulor Pro 2.32.
This configuration runs without trouble most of the time. Sometimes
the Iyonix is frozen when I switch back (but I don't think the KVM is
the problem) and sometimes the Mac mini is frozen.
I never get an error when switching the KVM.
Good luck,
Peter
