This may be no help, but it worked for me: look in
HID Choices>Installation. If it is set to "Run !HID
application automatically" then try changing this to
"Start !HID application manually". You can still run
it every time by putting it in the 'Run at startup'
section of !Boot. Presumably, it then happens later
(or earlier?) in the sequence of things, and this can
help.
