Certainly it pays to be careful of the startup.
Here with a Rextron USB KVM, if it isn't switched to the Iyonix when
that starts, then no keyboard or mouse is found. The monitor does
work, but the only thing I can do is press the reset button.
If it isn't switched to the laptop when that starts, the laptop, with
an ATI Radeon graphics card ends up as 800x600 I think, on a 1280x1024
LCD monitor. Depending on which Catalyst control panel version I have
loaded, it is sometimes running only on the external monitor, with a
blank internal screen. Cycling through the three options (internal,
external, both) gets the resolution set correctly.
