I had a look at this interested recorder program some while ago. I
tried performing a recording (humming into a microphone and then
switching on AudioIn recorder) and according to WavEdit there is no
noticeable delay between the start of the recording and the output.
Have I misunderstood you!

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean.
