There is no need to explore causes. Applications like Ancestor+ are 
exactly the reason why there are options to turn off Geminus for 
specific applications. So, you can still keep Geminus running for 
other applications and simply disable it for Ancestor+. That would 
have been much easier than your method of trying to disable Geminus 
altogether by finding its modules.
