I bought the Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Digital model SB 0220 as suggested
at the time and it works fine. The driver I downloaded at that time was
in the form of a SoundDMA module (SoundDMA 0.12 19th Nov 2007) which
seems to be a more complete solution than the sblive_play absolute file
that is currently on the   http://www.simonrules.com/iyonixsblive/ link.
It just gives a command line usage - but I'm sure it will work.
Once the SoundDMA module is loaded everything is played through the
Soundblaster card. I have only played MP3's through it, I'll try the
CDin socket next time I fit the card. That part might work without a
driver.
