[iyonix-support] Re: Additional sound card

Hi John.
I guess that even if you had found a card that could fit in the Iyonix, you wouldn't see the card working without the right driver, 
this nice little piece of software that tells the card what to do.
It's the same problem the linux people have with peripherals that their OS can't use unless the maker provides 'openly' informations 
on how to address (is that correct) the card.
Lately I read that this approach greatly improves... but for RISC OS there still is a lack of programmers willing to write OS compliant 
drivers ...
