I don't think the Iyonix will write (totally) to 500GB HDDs via USB, nor via any other port on the Iyo ;-( Oh for the day when it can... Mind you, you could be right, nothing could be any slower than the 100KB floppy speeds I am at present experiencing, and Omni sholuld only be half as fast as theoretically possible as ClanMan98; that is, about 50 times faster than I am presently getting. I'll give it a whirl, but am inclined to think something is drastically wrong, either in the *configuration settings, or something else. -- Cheers Roger Bury Walkers http://burywalkers.members.beeb.net/ Atomic Software http://rogerdarlington.members.beeb.net/ Summer Winers http://rogerarm.freeuk.com/rogerarm/ Bury Hut http://buryhut.members.beeb.net/ Wild Flowers http://rdarlington.members.beeb.net/ Off-road doesn't mean on-pavement. --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
