I'd just downloaded 5.14 and flashed the ROM when this arrived. I
couldn't be bothered to softload it. As an aside I still need to find
the part of the Boot sequence where I was softloading individual
modules I had previously downloaded.
I scanned and saved an image as a JPEG (72MB sprite, 1.2MB JPEG). I
then attempted to rotate it through 90 degrees. After about 20 s the
hourglass was still showing 00% so I aborted it.
My recollection is that DPlngScan was always very slow at some
operations. I use PrivateEye for preference for displaying JPEGS.
When I tried rotating it, it complained at a lack of memory - with
342268K free! The task display lists Geminus JPEG Workspace as 2704K.
The presence of Geminus may be relevant.
