I don't think so, but you can check this yourself by switching the monitor
on at the same time.

It might be. I have noticed a few reports of the Iyonix being stiffed
while work is going on on another computer. The symptoms are that the
Iyonix is unresponsive when you return to it.
When this happens to my setup Iyo + windows PC with Belkin 2 port USB KVM
I find both the LEDs on the keyboard and the optical mouse are dead and
the !alarm clock is stopped. This is an unpredictable and intermittent
fault so difficult to pin down. I have not seen the HD LED illuminated.
The only recovery is to press the reset button.
