Old Iyonix, RO5.11, Castle supplied 2 machine KVM and Xerox screen
Since installing the KVM and screen I have noticed the following:
First thing in the a.m. I come down...switch on the Iyonix and press the blue
egg The machine comes to life.
I come back a bit later and switch on the monitor and wiggle the mouse.
Nothing appears on the screen (yes the KVM is switched to the IYonix).
I the ne norice that the green power LES and the Harddrive LED are both on.
Pressing the reset button usually gets the maachine to spring to life and
everything is okay (unless there is afreeze but that's a different matter).
Question 1...Does the Iyinix need todetect a monitor before completing the
Boot sequence?
or
Question 2,,,Is this behaviour possibly a factor of the KVM.
This behaviour wasnot /noticed/ when the Iyonix was attached directly to the
monitor but that was also before my current morning habits developed.
