Isn't that because you are the team lead & you flog them to death if they stop
working?

Guess I don't really care what you call the list or where it resides. Just so
long as people with a vested interest in ISA can find it and the ISA PM and
other MS people are also members. It would be nice if Jim could catch a break
and not be the only guy out there. This list is good but it's a pretty private
group.

If you're going to get them anywhere, it will be over here on this list.
Even if not, Jim joining up with that one again isn't going to change that.
If the concern is that "ISA needs a community" then like I said before, we've
already got one. If it is "ISA MVP's need a community" (like,
exclusively) then it looks like you are the only one that thinks that, even
among the other ISA MVP's (even the one that you know).

To me, the REAL value of a true "community" comes from the bond being interest
and passion for the product itself, and not some arbitrary 3rd party
affiliation (like "MVP"). That's evident in the fate of that ISA-MVP list.
Hell, it even had other area MVP's in it (like me) but it still sucked.

Technically, this list is superior to any other list out there - you can still
help perpetuate the ISA community, but it looks like the best way to do that is
to bag the ISA MVP list altogether unless you really think you can repair the
extensive damage its reputation suffered.
