Re: secondary IP address

secondary IP addressPacket filters are created on a "per IP" basis with respect
to the ISA-owned IPs.
They reference:
1. "Default IP address(es) on the external interface(s)" - this means that only
the first-bound IP is used on any external interface.
2. "This ISA server's external IP address" - this limits the filter to a single
IP on a single ISA
3. "This computer (on the perimeter network)" - limits the packet filter to a
host in the third-leg DMZ
4. "These computers (on the perimeter network)" - allows the PF to apply to all
hosts in the third-leg DMZ

Note that there is a bug in ISA that prevents actual use of more than one
external interface.

would the default one not work?
I am trying to make a smooth transition from one isp to another.
If I define the ip address for one isp and reboot everything works and if I
do the same for the other it all works but if I have both addresses defined
only the first one is reachable.

Have you created VPN packet filters for this IP?

Anyone know why when I add a second external Ip address to my ISA server
that is on a different ISP I cannot accept VPN connections on this address?
