Re: no incoming, no outgoing-SMTP ISA NO GO

Hi tab,

Here's what you need to do:
1. make sure the E2K server is a secureNAT client to the ISA
2. make sure you have the following "allow" protocol rules in place:
    SMTP
    DNS Query
    DNS Zone Transfer
3. Make sure your Server publishing rule uses the correct IP addresses (int
and ext)
Make sure it uses the "SMTP Server" protocol
4. Make sure your MX record point to the IP used ion the server publishing
rule

Hello all.

Here are the facts in the case:
0. Fresh install of exchange and ISA
1. Exchange 2k runs fine when out on the the net.
2. moved exchange to internal net 192.168.1.2
3. setup ISA server int-192.168.1.3, ext-65.203.x.x
4. exchange will no longer get mail or send mail.
5. proxy on 192.168.1.3 8080 runs fine
6. ran the mail wizard still nothing.
7. tried everything I could think of.

Please provide any information if you can. I really need to get this
exchange server up and running.
