That could certainly do it.  Did you try right-clicking the Client tray
icon, going into "Configure" and clicking "Update Now"?
 
Can you ping your ISA server from your workstation?  By name?

Dear;
do you know why the firewall client appears a message "ISA Server my_server
is inaccessible". is it involving that why i can't send/received mail from
client?
