No, you can't. This has been a cold, hard fact of ISA life since ISA 2000 shipped in Dec 2001. It doesn't matter how many NICs you install or how many IPs you get, ISA does not natively support multiple WAN connections. NLB is not even part of the question or answer, since NLB handles the server, not the ISP side of the connection. Also, NLB is supported with ISA 2000, but not ISA 2004 SE. Teaming doesn't give you any more NICs than you have physically installed; it actually creates a single "virtual" NIC whose capabilities are completely dependent on the way the driver was written and configured. Ignorant, argumentative statements are met with like responses, too. Plug each cable into a different network card. You'll get 2 different IP address. If you want to do NLB with ISA, which is does not support, which is what I said, then it will not work. Just because it will not do NLB does not mean you can not have 2 xDSL, cable, LAN connections from the "external" world plugged into the system. It'll only send traffic over one of them, but you can have two plugged in. I'm sure as hell running 3 NICS on my virtual server and 2 IP's that are "external" that are static on the cards and the server still boots. Ask a stupid question, get a sarcastic answer. That's sure what you did. That's what I did. (BTW, using adapter teaming you can use more than 1 card for your external interface, al la virtual interface. That right there gives you multiple physical WAN connections to one logical WAN connection. Period. End of story.) -----Original Message----- From: John Tolmachoff (Lists) [mailto:johnlist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 11:52 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: how to config 2 line ADSL with one ISA Server http://www.ISAserver.org Please do not post incorrect information.
