Are the machines configured as Web proxy clients?

If so, how EXACTLY are they configured to be Web proxy clients?

        Michael,

"IE can't find the search page" Error is specified for cannot
reach DNS...

Check on one of the KIDS machine that you can find the DNS
correctly and can resolve any name

and then try to resolve proxy server name from this machine...

I think it's not matter of proxy problem

        Best Regards

all the students are part of a proxy users group. the
proxy users group has a grant all rule.
one other school is working.. but the main school isnt,
and i cant figure out why
IE first pops up and says it cant find the search page,
then we get the 502 error.

when I logon to the box, it works, when a student does,
it breaks. when a teacher logs on , it works.

Its looks like there is a Deny rule is not being matched
or an allow rule is missing for the group members for the students.
