I'm sorry Tom I have no clue what protocol.............how can I find out? I
did download some real good info on vpn's from a link posted on the email list
time to start reading and working with a test network.

Here is my immediate problem
new employee labtop running win2k pro as outlook setup to access the exchange
server over a what appears to be a win2k dial on demand connectoid it sure
looks like a windows dialup the password is set to secure and the protocol
window is set to automatic.

We can connect with this connectoid when we use a linksys router so my thinking
is there are outbound ports on the isa server that need to be open. I did copy
past the data in command window fron netstat -a........... while the tunnel was
active is there any info there that can help. I did see a port connnected to
the ip address listed in the connectoid.

I finnally got the approval to move isa off the sbs server and run it on a box
all by itsself. Anyway I will be studying the vpn mannuals I downloaded awhile
back I.m sure they will help out alot.

Jim
