It was John but anyway... Andrew you will probably find little or no help on these sorts of topics of a isa firewall list attended by people who would classify themselves as somewhat security professionals, and rightly so. Least of all Jim with his attachment with Microsoft (the manufacturer). Even if he did know im not so sure he could be seen to affiliate with these kind of requests due to company policy. Enough on that. If you really want to run a game server from home can I suggest another firewall. Maybe even download the smoothwall iso and stick that on another box and plug your connection into that when you want to play and change it back when you want to be protected. I was merely asking what can be done so that I can have some fun from time to time, I honestly would dare to try and implement something like that in a corporate office production environment. You have got to be blinkedy kidding. Internet on-line games preclude the use of firewalls, at least effective ones. Kind of like saying I want bars on all windows and doors on my house, but I want to be able to allow all the neighborhood kids to come in when ever they want. The 2 are mutually exclusive.
