RE: cannot access

Dear Tom;
thx for your explanation. i think the protocol rules and site&content rules
is not problem. i want to repeat and clarify my statement problem because
maybe i give that statement unclear.

i have 2 NIC in the isa machine. first NIC connect to local, and secondary
NIC connect to internet with ip public.
1. if the user client in local area browsing internet using firewall client
(connect to isaserver) is ok (no problem).
2. when i ping the dns like www.hotmail.com; www.yahoo.com, etc from isa
machine (isa server) is ok too...

and my problem is :
i dial to isp and so why can't i ping to my isa server (ip public)?
and i have the other server use ip public too, and i can't ping to my isa
server too.

Hi Amos,

You need to create Protocol Rules and Site and Content Rules. You should
also check out the Help file and the learning zone over at
www.isaserver.org to see how the different ISA Server clients work.

Dear;

I have 2 NIC in the ISA machine and 1 NIC connect to local network and
the
other one use and connect to internet.
but my problem is when i try to access or ping to ip public (in the isa
machine) from the client (internet connection) the "timed out" message
appears, and so i can't use all service like instant messageing, irc in
that
isa machine.

what should i do in order that i can access all service?

Best Regards;
Amos D. Galiardo
