Please remember that while you can make the firewall as strong and secure as
possible, security must be a multilayered approach which must included
protection at the end user including due diligence by the end user.

Hi Tom,

I was thinking of those 2 products too.

The SSL feature indeed is missing in a lot of software products, except for
Finjan.

However, it's not clear to me what technical items I should realize and what
It would cost to get a Finjan Solution integrated with ISA.

I'll contact Finjan and see what they can tell me about their solution.

And I'll pass your message that they REALLY should provide you the info as
requested.

I don't think they realize how much influence the isaserver.org site and
mailing list has on system administrators ;)

Met vriendelijke groet,

Sebastian van Dijk

Hi Sebastian,

While I definitely favor the GFI products, I have to say that I really like
Finjan's Vital Security to perform outbound SSL bridging. This is a vital
piece to your overall security posture and without it, you really need to
block all outbound SSL connections (and it goes without saying that you
shouldn't allow outbound VPN connections of any kind from anyone except the
most trusted users).

In spite of the fact that Finjan rudely ignore my requests for more
information, I find their outbound SSL bridging feature well-named, and it
definitely is Vital Security!

HTH,

We have ISA server 2000.

I've seen these products :

GFI Download Security
