Hi Tom,
My fault - I pressed the subdomain point and still do.
The way I propose it, the "main domain" (domain.tld) is external and
"somethingelsethatmakessensetoyou.domain.tld" is internal.
This way, there's no question what's internal and external, no matter which way
you're facing and split DNS creates no conflicts.

Hi Ara,
I just make it domain.com for all my split DNS domains. Some people have
mentioned advantages for subdomains, and I believe Microsoft does this too, but
I think for smaller biz there isn't much to be gained by it.

Hello
If I get this right, instead of domain.local, we had to make it
local.domain.com. Am I right?

1.
RPC over HTTP on a non-.local site (working)
OWA with SSL on a non-.local site (working)
2.
RPC over HTTO and OWA coexisting on a non-.local site (working)
3.
Is there any info about setting up a page which allows clients to download the
cert into their machine so they can do RPC over HTTP? I was thinking something
like having a page which the user would have login (login is simple) a press a
button that installs the cert onto their computer (giving them the warning
signs), and below that giving them steps to setup RPC over HTTP on their
computer?
Andrew
