That was my thinking also. All 3 of the linux sites are listening on port 80 as they were before the ISA implementation. The publishing rules for my sites are: Name: nubiint Destinations Selected destination set: www.nubiint.com Action Redirect the request: 192.168.1.x Send the original host header... Define ports: 80, 443, 21 Applies to: Any request Name: nusolutions Destinations Selected destination set: www.nusolutions.biz Action Redirect the request: 192.168.1.x Send the original host header... Define ports: 80, 443, 21 Applies to: Any request Name: newundertakings Destinations Selected destination set: www.newundertakings.com Action Redirect the request: 192.168.1.x Send the original host header... Define ports: 80, 443, 21 Applies to: Any request Destination Sets Name: www.nubiint.com Destination: www.nubiint.com Name: www.nusolutions.biz Destination: www.nusolutions.biz Name: www.newundertakings.com Destination: www.newundertakings.com I wasn't aware that I needed to add "/*". Can you point me to a reference on it? I still wouldn't be surprised if something isn't configured correctly with this setup. I can only see one site internally and that www.nubiint.com. The other 2 give me page not found errors. I've also created the TZO packet filters and the protocol rule for it. Stumped!!! -----Original Message----- From: John G. Are your destination sets configured right? www.yourdomain.com and /* In your publishing rule do you have a check in box for "send the original host header to the publishing server..... Just my thoughts on it. -----Original Message----- From: marvc [mailto:marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2003 2:15 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Web publishing not working for me either... http://www.ISAserver.org While I await another opportunity to have dr. shin take a look at my network I have to ask this question. Does it matter that my websites are hosted on a linux server instead of IIS? I ask because none of my attempts to get these sites published have worked. thanks -----Original Message----- From: marvc [mailto:marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2003 9:38 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Web publishing not working for me either... http://www.ISAserver.org Tom From one tzo'er to another, sure. I've created the necessary packet filters and followed documentation for publishing servers and it isn't working. I've even made attempts to modify the ports on the virtual hosts in the apache config file and it still isn't working. Am I to assume that everyone that uses ISA only IIS? Or that there just isn't a lot written on how to do this? I've been searching and posting to linux and apache forums for answers or direction on how to do this and I'm coming up blank. Can anyone offer a tut or some form of assistance to a newbie who'd really like to learn ISA before I ditch it and go back to my linksys? tia ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jlyon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: marvc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
