That is interesting, actually...

Hi Jim,

There's always the option in ISA Server 2004 to create a route
relationship between Internal and External and then allow all IP traffic
from External to Internal. I think that would be a popular config in
certain circles ;-)

Actually, it becomes simpler in ISA 2004 because a single protocol can
include multiple primary connections.
This is one thing that made the virus scripts easier to write for ISA
2004.

You can't.
- You'd have to create protocol definitions for all of the outbound
primary connections
- You'd have to create a protocol rule that allows all of the protocols
you just defined
- You'd have to create protocol definitions for all of the inbound
primary connections
- You'd have to server-publish each of the inbound definitions
individually

Had enough yet?

If you figure this out you would be ahead of just about everybody. VOIP
does not play nice with ISA, or just about any other firewall for that
matter. You usually have to revert to hanging your VOIP phones out on
in a DMZ with a real internet IP address.

Hi

I have a VOIP phone on my internal network. It has a fixed IP

It seems that from one phone to another and Service provider to
another different ports are needed

Can anyone tell me how to open ALL port to the IP of this phone
or of some way to find the ports I need. Ports 5060 and 20222 TCP In and
Out are needed but from a sniffer it seems to from to use UDP ports etc

The VOIP phone is a GrandStream BudgeTone-100

Appreciate any help

William
