That again depends on what you're trying to setup. I believe that you need
a separate DNS for external IP address and your internal IP addresses.
They should not be on the same machine for security reasons.
Also out on http://www.isaserver.org <http://www.isaserver.org/> you'll
find good information on DNS setup.

AD is a requirement only if you want to configure ISA arrays. You can
configure a stand-alone ISA member without AD.
